A Few Simple Steps Can Add Power to Your Resume Objective
How To Write Your Resume Objective
Your resume objective is the first thing employers will read, make sure it's captivating! Your resume will be first scanned for only a few seconds. Your resume objective must capture them and sell them a value. If you need help, please inquire about hiring our resume writer.
Too many resume objectives are written with the job seeker's desire in mind. For example: A sales position where my creativity and skill can be utilized with room for growth!
The above statement does nothing for your employer. This is all about you! Advertise what they need! Answer their question, “what can you do for me?” Besides, how many objectives do you think sound like the above? In a pile of hundreds of resumes, all stating the same thing, how will your resume stand out? Your resume objective should not be YOUR objective, but should be your employer's objective. Your goal is to make a match! Lure them in towards reading the rest of your resume by demonstrating right away that you are the person they need in order to see results!

Add Power With A Targeted Objective
Target the specific job they have open:Name the position you are seeking exactly as advertised.
Stay on one title:One job title per resume, two is acceptable if they are fairly similar. Titles are keywords!
Use a Profile instead of a Resume Objective: A profile statement is better for candidates with plenty experience and achievements. A Profile will allow you to highlight more of your qualifications.
It’s not about what you desire; It’s about the company’s need. Eliminate personal pronouns like My, I, Me, Mine, etc. Take a look at the following examples:
Good -- OBJECTIVE: A position as a résumé writer to help jobseekers find the right job, with the right pay, and within
affordable rates. Notice mention of benefits the employer (you) desires to achieve by hiring a writer
Bad -- OBJECTIVE: A position as a résumé writer that will allow me to use my creativity and will challenge me with
room for growth...(This is entirely the writer's desire) and help the job seeker (too late!).
If you desire that the company know that you are the best person out there, then convince them that you are qualified. It is really not in their benefit that you are seeking a position that will allow you to utilize your blah, blah, blah! They want to find the person that will do for them what they need: Assist the manager, increase profit, help customers, organize office, or lead a team so that their company becomes more successful. Hiring managers are not paid to fulfill your needs, but to fulfill the company’s. Make sure the rest of your resume supports your objective statement. Treat yourself to a powerful resume!
